THIS IS WHERE IT ALL GOES ON/Thirty-four Artist Studios. curated by Caryn Coleman, Hayward Gallery Touring, London (forthcoming)

Curated by Caryn Coleman, Hayward Touring commissioned 34 international artists to photograph their studios. It reveals the private studio space to the public, opening up perspectives on contemporary artistic practices and the diversity of what constitutes sites of production. As with historical images of the artist studios of Picasso, Georges Braque, Piet Mondrian, etc., This is where it all goes on defines the current moment in art through studio portraiture. It asks how the studio can represent the artist and how does the artist represent his or herself in the studio?
